This month has flown by so fast, and has been jam packed with soccer, soccer, soccer that we have not really taken a lot of day trips with the fam. Jesse, Toby, and Brittney are doing great! They have been working hard in school. Brittney is loving soccer, she loves being mid position and she runs all over both sides of the field. Jesse and Toby are not doing any sports right now, unless fighting with each other counts....yeah I didn't think so either. From what I have been told this sibling stuff is all normal. (I just wish they would be finished with this stage and move onto being nice to each other). There were a couple of outings to the Yuba River this month, unfortunately with soccer we have to go eariler in the day when the other kiddos are still in school. So I guess Marcika is the lucky one there. She is still loving school and was pretty cute discovering that the Yuba River is in a Deciduous Forest, which is something she learned about a couple of weeks ago. Jason is working tons and has been able to work in the Yuba City and Chico stores this month, which was a change (kind of a hard one for me to adjust too. After all I have been spoiled having my love home with me every night). I'm doing okay taking life as it comes, and doing the best with it (well the bet I can do at the moment). Hope you are doing great!
Nephi, being loved by Marcika. She loves him so much that she has made him his own special bed. These pictures were taken by her. I think he is her shining star.
Marcika's first field trip of the year. We went to the park with the rest of CAVA. It was a lot of fun, she climbed a rock wall, we went down slides together and then as a group the kids played a game called sailor and sailboat. This school year has started out great, and I know it will only get better. ;o)
I'm so excited! I have been wanting and looking for a piano for a long time! (Well it's safe to say that it has been in my thoughts for a long time and just recently expressed vocally). A great friend has been looking for me too. To my delight she came across this one. I know it has it's nicks and all, but I love it! It sounds great and the kids are loving it (best of all was the cost...it was FREE). My friend Barbara's husband, their son, Jesse, Mom and I all worked together to get it home. It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be. I am one lucky gal, to have been blessed with such a great family and wonderful friends!
