Family Time

Fun time! We brought the dogs and let them run. It was great to see the kids chase after them laughing as they went. It was a wonderful night! Beautiful views and glorious moon. When we pulled up there was a family of deer bucks and does, babies too. We ended our trip with a terrific walk. I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my family!!!

I love to see the Temple.....I'll go inside one day.

We had an amazing walk around the Temple, as we talked about what each of us are thankful for. Jason is thankful for each of us, Toby is thankful for family, Brittney is thankful for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, Marcika is thankful for family and the service we provide, Jess is thankful for food, I am thankful for my family, for the gospel, and for the ability to go to the Temple and feel so close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. There are so many wonderful things that have taken place this past year it is hard to imagine all of the wonderful blessings that we have been showered with. (Nov 2009)

Halloween 2009

Halloween already! We had Trunk-or-Treat tonight. the gilrs dressed up as scary creatures. Britt was a Vampire, and Marce was a Zombie. Jason had a great time making costumes and doing the girls makeup. Jess went as himself and Toby was Pillowcase Man.

Family Fun

We had one of the best nights ever! We went and kicked a soccer ball around, everyone laughed, played, and had a great time. Then we took a walk around the Sacramento Temple and beheld all of the beauty and wonder that Fall has brought.

I love going to the Temple!

It is great to see the changes with new seasons.
Each time we go there is something new to see.

It is hard to believe that Jesse is 14, Toby is 11, Britt almost 10, and Marce 7. Time sure has gone by much faster than I could have imagined. I hope that we are making good memories that will last them throughout their lives. Memories that they will hold close to their hearts and will help them when times get tough, and that they will want to share with their children and grandchildren.

New Pet

Friday Night we went to our chucrh Taco Feed. Toby, the girls and his friends went rock climbing. We came home with "Reptard". He/she is pretty small (body is smaller than my thumb). Toby wanted everyone to see his new pet. Marce was pretty sweet, she is letting Tobes use her fish tank as a home for "Reptard". The kids love finding ants and other bugs for it to eat.

Update: October 17, 2009

Reptard returned to Heavenly Father today. In a peaceful quite Toby and Marce were preparing Reptards resting place when Marce yells with excitement, “Toby, it’s a miracle!” They both came running into the bathroom with smiles from ear to ear, “he’s not dead he just opened his eyes.” We thought that he was going to pull through, but alas he has returned to a much better place, where I am sure we will see him again.
