May

May has been a beautiful month for us. Lots of adventures, lots of school events, and a major milestone has been reached.  Loads of laughs and buckets of tears have filled our days. 

Life is great!

Jason, Mariah and I went on a road trip. We were heading to a redwood forest, however we decided that getting to our location at 9pm really wouldn't allow us to see much so we changed course and were going to the Muir Woods....hahaha talk about tons of people, there was no parking anywhere, so where to???? Where else?! The beach!!! LOL yeah the first two beaches we went to were packed just like the woods, to our fav beach it was. NICE! Low tide, lots of exploring and fresh air!

 For some reason I was fascinated with the log in the water.

 Jason was taking pics as I was driving, he captured the fog rolling in over the Golden Gate Bridge.

We ended our trip in Capistrano and had dinner at Barbara's Fishtrap. 

I thought it was interesting how the bird blended into the rocks so well.

Quest was running behind the jeep having a great time, MJ asked if they could run too...?...!...Jason and I said sure...so MJ, Mariah and her friend Amanda got out and chased after us. To funny not to snap a picture or two.

 First stop on our way to Slick Rock. Rocks to climb and water to splash...great combo! It was a tad chilly out and MJ and Quest were the only ones brave enough to venture into the water. This will be a GREAT spot to go once the weather gets warmer.

We had a great time at Slick Rock. There was a Tacoma group and a Jeep group heading up the trail when we got there so we waited awhile, then found our way to the bottom of the trail and ventured to the top, where we parked and hiked up the huge rocks, we found a beautiful waterfall (Jason and the girls went exploring; the girls fell in). It was a great day and a LONG night! For some reason the rear differential would not unlock and we were stuck in the mountains for a long long time, thankfully Chris and Jaslin came and got us and a tow truck towed the jeep safely to Chase Chrysler in Stockton (got there just after 1am). 

The end of the school year is quickly approaching, along with it comes projects, back to school nights and amazing performances. I am so thankful for these wonderful activities and the memories that are being made.

 Jason and I took a drive. We ended up in Santa Cruz, this is one of the roadside stops that we made. I still cannot believe how beautiful our world is.

We went on our first group trip. We went to Cow Mountain. It was pretty cool, 27 vehicles showed up in total. Jason took the top and doors off for this trip, it sure was windy.
