All about us!: August

August is coming to an end! So hard to believe that another school year has began and we will soon be saying goodnight to another wonderful Summer. The last trip we took this month was to the ocean. All of our beautiful kiddos joined in the fun this time. It was a glorious evening. The sun was setting and gently kissing the waters edge. The waves were rolling in and making their splash upon the rocks. The winds blew a with an icy reminder that Fall is right around the corner.

SOCCER!!! Britt and Marce are both playing soccer this year. Britt is on the girls U12 team called the COBRAS! ~ She had her first game and did an amazing job. She was a defender and then the Keeper (Goalie). She had a lot of fun! Marcika is on the girls U10 team called Soccer Stars! She had to miss her first game (she was running a pretty good fever), but she loves practice and has a ton of fun!

Saturday the 20th was a very busy day. The girls and I went to the opening day parade for soccer and then to picture day. When we were finished with that Jason, the girls and I went to the ocean. Jesse and Toby were at their friends houses. It was a beautiful day in SanFran. We found an old military bunker that we investigated and then went for a hike overlooking the ocean. We ended our trip on the beach, playing in the water. It was kind of on the chilly side, but we had so much fun no one really noticed. The waves were huge, one of them soaked Britt's entire front, and one completely covered Marcika!

It's back to school time yet again! Britt is in Mrs. Fishburn's class along with 35 other students. Toby and Jess have gotten their schedules and are all ready to go. Marce is excited to start home school, she asked if she could start today. It's gonna be a great year!
